Pitch has worked with World Rugby, the Six Nations, SANZAAR and various national Unions in understanding the media and commercial implications and potential value of various future calendar and competitive structures for Test match Rugby. This has involved utilising our knowledge of the value broadcasters attribute to Test match rugby and how this varies by factors including match type, timezone and competition structure. Our work has included modelling the potential media revenues for various calendar and competition models, including sensitivity and risk analysis. Pitch has also worked with various National Unions providing media strategy advice, benchmarking and valuation services ahead of new broadcast cycles.
