Approach
Pitch built a model to forecast the potential impact on broadcaster revenues of two suggested fixture formats. The approach included consulting with nine key broadcasters of rugby – across all rugby union markets, covering free-to-air, pay-TV and streaming operators – to gain feedback on the agreed shortlist of potential format options. Alongside this, Pitch assessed the optimal rights distribution and go-to-market strategies.
