Formerly known as Toulon Tournament, a whole host of future superstars have played in this youth tournament since its inception in 1967. Despite not recognised by FIFA, it has become one of the most renown & prestigious tournaments in world football. The Best Player award reads a who’s who in world football through the years, acting as the steppingstone for them to progress on the international stage. Typically, an U20 event, the age limit varies from year to year, with many teams using it as a warmup tournament in Olympic years. Past Players include Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry, Hristo Stoichkov, Rui Costa, David Beckham, Cafu & Alan Shearer.

Since agreeing a deal in 2012, Pitch has broadcast the tournament to over 125 territories, seeing the tournament grow from 8 teams to 12, with 44 different teams taking part.
