The British & Irish Lions and Rugby Australia appoint Pitch for international broadcast media rights distribution of the 2025 Tour of Australia
The British & Irish Lions and Rugby Australia have appointed Pitch International (Pitch) as its exclusive international media rights distribution partner for the upcoming tour to Australia in 2025.
The Lions will be led by new Head Coach Andy Farrell and face one of the most challenging tours in their rich history, as they look to emulate the success they enjoyed on their last tour there in 2001. The first official contest between the two sides was in 1899, while the 2025 tour will start in Dublin on the 20th of June and finish in Sydney on 2nd
August.
The deal with Pitch will not only cover all the warm-up matches and the three Test matches, but each of the historic behind the scenes films, dating back to the iconic 1997, ‘Living with Lions’, documentary, as well as a broader partnership covering the Lions’ archive.
