Since 2012, Pitch has worked exclusively with the EFL on the international media distribution for all its competitions, including the EFL Cup, the Championship, Leagues 1 & 2 and the EFL Trophy.
Pitch has worked closely with the EFL, and its partners, to maximise revenue returns and coverage for its competitions, via a range of innovative and strategic broadcast partnerships. In the process we have supported the federation with its own direct to consumer proposition, iFollow.
Following the success of the original agreement, a further five-year extension was agreed in 2017 which delivered a record 68% increase in value for the EFL. Over the course of this latest rights cycle coverage has been secured in 177 territories across a wide breadth of different media platforms.
